1 - Par 4 |
|
A drive down the middle will leave the long
hitter with a middle iron to a green guarded by a bunker on the left side.
This relatively easy Par 4 is a good starting hole. |
| Number
2 - Par 3 |
|
Club selection is critical due to a typical
westerly wind. Green is guarded by a large bunker. Better to be long
than short on this hole. |
| Number
3 - Par 5 |
| Long
tee shot to the right of the bunker may carry downslope for additional yardage.
Don't be fooled - there is plenty of room to the right from the tee. Second
shot will give you a middle iron shot to a very large green. |

4 - Par 4 |
|
The wind will usually help this tee shot that
needs to be left center to avoid deep depression on right side of fairway and
heavy rough on left. Pin placement on this slightly elevated green
will dictate club selection. |

5 - Par 4 |
|
Straight drive is a must to avoid fairway
bunkers on both sides of fairway. This deceivingly long Par 4 usually plays into
the wind and the green is guarded by a large wrap around bunker. |
| Number
6 - Par 5 |
|
This Par 5 demands a tee shot that carries
over a small ravine. Second shot needs to stay left center to avoid large
mounds down the right side of the fairway. Third shot with a short iron
to an undulating green may wield a deserved birdie. |

7 - Par 3 |
|
Par 3 with an elevated tee and a very large
elevated green. Miss this green and it is nearly impossible to get up and
down. |
| Number
8 - Par 4 |
|
A short Par 4 that requires a drive down the
left side to avoid waste bunkers that run from tee to green. Be careful
- this hole looks easy, but can jump up and grab you. |
| Number
9 - Par 4 |
|
Straight tee shot should carry up to 150 yard
marker and avoid fairway bunkers on right side. One of the largest greens
on the golf course. Accurate club selection is key. |
| Number
10 - Par 4 |
|
One of several picturesque holes on the course.
It is wise to avoid fairway bunkers that border both the left and right side of
the fairway. Fairway slopes left to aid slicers. Water is visually intimidating
from tee, but should not come into play. Better to miss green short and right
to avoid waste bunker on left side of the green. |

Par is a good score here. Drive must
stay left of trees in order to have a clear shot to green. This green has
severe undulation. If approach shot is on the wrong side of the hole, forget
any chance for a birdie. Great Golf hole! |

Wide open fairway leaves an easy drive, but
watch out for fairway bunkers on both sides. Medium to short iron approach
from an elevated fairway should yield a good score. |

13 - Par 3 |
|
A great Par 3. Don't let the yardage fool
you. A short to middle iron tee shot to a green that is larger than it looks from
the tee, must carry over a water hazard that guards this scenic hole. Pick
the right iron because this is a tough hole to get up and down if you miss the
green. |

14 - Par 4 |
|
Be conservative with your tee shot or you
may find yourself hitting a punch shot out of the woods or taking a drop out of
the water hazard on the right side of the fairway. Second shot to another
large green requires accurate club selection. Par is a great score on this
hole. |

A beautiful Par 5. Reachable in two
for big hitters. Short hitters will find this hole very receptive to birdies
and pars if you keep the ball in the fairway. |
| Number
16 - Par 3 |
|
The longest Par 3 on the course.
Take par and run! |

A great home stretch hole. This Par
4 requires two good shots to reach the green. Many a match has been won
or lost on this hole. |

18 - Par 5 |
|
A Par 5 where a good tee shot sets
you up for success or failure. A fairway wood on the second shot will give
you a short iron to a peninsula green. An accurate third shot will make
a birdie likely on this picturesque finishing hole. |
